Loved the historic ambiance and serene feel of this hotel, complete with amazing gardens, a beautiful swimming pool, and comfortable, recently renovated rooms. The breakfast was just right with fresh food from the hotel's own chickens. Great service from staff and easy parking.

The swimming pool was nice and the location was pretty, although quite isolated. The breakfast was decent, and there was a charming atmosphere.
The Wi-Fi was not reliable, which was frustrating since we wanted to use it to stay in touch with family during the holidays. the lack of entertainment or activities made the holiday feel dull and uneventful.

Celebrating New Year's at this historic hotel was a great experience. the breakfast was fresh and included eggs from their own chickens. the rooms were comfortable with a bonus of a terrace on the top floor which offered great views and kept us active with the 50 stairs. the location was perfect for exploring the surrounding area and the swimming pool was lovely.
